I Know a Woman who...

This is your opportunity to help another woman in need!

The “I Know A Woman Who” initiative was created to allow men and women to celebrate everyday she-roes and allow others to anonymously submit the names of women who would benefit from supportive services. Working in the social work field for over 5 years, I've had several women say to me, “I don’t have a support network” and “I’m doing this by myself.”  The “I Know a Woman Who” Initiate will remind women that they are not alone, they are seen, and there are other women and men that want to help.

Please submit classified information or social media handles for the woman you know that needs help locating mental health services, assistance with food, baby items, work clothes for an interview or a referral to other social service programs. If you would like to nominate a woman who is an everyday hero, please submit her information as well. Every Wednesday, I celebrate women on the Me1st Facebook and Instagram page. In the near future, there will be physical awards for winners of the “I Know a Woman Who” Initiative.
