Alabaster Box

As a woman of faith who loves to help others, I’m always thinking of ways that I can serve the women in my community. God reminded me of the story about the women with the alabaster box. Mary Magdalane washed Jesus’ feet with her tears, dried his feet with her hair, and perfumed his feet with ointment from a jar (Alabaster box.) Mary’s act of kindness reminded me that life has its own challenges and we all take different paths, but through serving others we can love others the way God loves us. The act of foot washing emphasizes that we need to care for one another in the way that Jesus cares for us.

We are here to lift you up in prayer and to walk with you on your journey to empowerment.
